What we did
Web
Client
A procurement team running supplier auctions.
Engagement
We built the e-auction system: RFQs, live auction rounds and quote evaluation.

The challenge

Comparing supplier quotes fairly across currencies, taxes and adjustments by hand is slow and error-prone.

The solution

RFQ creation and supplier invitations, real-time ascending (English) and descending (Dutch) rounds, and automatic ranking with configurable scoring, tax factoring, bonus and malus adjustments and base-currency normalization, plus spend tracking and line-item awarding.

The impact

  • Live English and Dutch auction rounds.
  • Quotes ranked automatically across currencies.
  • Awards made line by line.
